KIT MAC 3 FAILSAFE

MAC3 and MAC3 FAILSAFE systems control access from the push side of the door. With lock closed by key, opening possible only with electric consent (button, switch, badge reader, etc.) which enables the handle, while from the pull side of the door the opening is always possible through handle for emergency exits. The enabled handle is indicated by a green LED, while a red LED indicates the handle is disabled. LEDs OFF indicate power failure.
MAC3 and MAC3 FAILSAFE supplied as standard handle for emergency exit M3tir (black plastic) or M3Xtir (stainless steel).
APPLICATION: for SINGLE LEAF and ACTIV LEAF of double leaved doors according to the terms set out in the norm UNI EN 179:2008.
The MAC3 is typically used in hotel room doors.
The MAC3 FAILSAFE is indicated for use on doors which shall assure access also in case of a blackout.

To be applied to mounted doors or doors without MAC preparation.
APPLICATION: for SINGLE LEAF and ACTIV LEAF of double leaf door of which the inactive leaf is normally closed.
Included (supplied in separate packing) : panic safe lock to pull entry 65 mm with built-in magnet, black plastic strike box lock, electric control unit with timer, cable with 4 wires, cable sleeve, dual lever handle (black plastic or brushed stainless steel), red/green LED installed on one of the cover plates, double square spindle, screws, standard cylinder, adhesive pictogram (green arrow), installation instructions.

Access granted: by electric impuls which cuts the power to the electro-magnet enabling the handle
In case of power failure: LED off, door openable from both sides, push side by handle and from the pull side by emergency handle
